Creating Economic Space for Social Innovation Conference

On Friday 26th January, the Saïd Business School of Oxford University will be hosting an event presenting the major outcomes from their four-year project: Creating Economic Space for Social Innovation. Partners of the project will be presenting leading theoretical and practical findings, and keynote speakers will include Jens Beckert, Frank Moulaert and Juergen Howaldt. The CRESSI (Creating Economic Space for Social Innovation) project focuses on “how policy and practice can enhance the lives of the most marginalized and disempowered citizens in society” (source). By taking an institutionalist view, research conducted in this project seeks to address economic and social inequalities. CRESSI has been running since February 2014, and will conclude with January’s much-anticipated event.
