Excellent Location. Lovely appartment. John gave us excellent service, prior, during and after our stay. Shame that it was so hot inside the appartment. Proper fans would have helped us. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again next time we visit Oxford.
Good location with a good bus service if you didn't fancy walking to the town centre. John was very helpful and more then happy for us to check in early which was really appreciated.

The apartment is a great size and feels cosy and homely. It was all really clean and tidy, and there is a good sized balcony which was lovely to sit out on. The bedrooms are both well sized and the complex is nice and quiet. It's a nice little local area with a good pub and nice coffee shops, so everything you need really. And a flat walk takes you into the city centre in about 10-15minutes so it's a great location for exploring.
We had a couple of issues during our stay. First, there was no hot water. We were only staying 2 nights and it was very hot weather so we made do with cold showers. When we left I advised the owner of the problem - and was told a previous guest must have switched it off and that we should have contacted them for help. It felt like the blame was put on both a previous guest and ourselves for the situation- but if it is that easy to switch off it should have been checked before our arrival, or there should instructions about how the systems work. There is no information provided about the heating or hot water. Second, the pedestrian gates into the development were locked on our 2nd night when we returned at 10pm. We had been given no instructions of how to get in so we had to walk down into the car park and enter the way we had instructions for. The owners/managers contacted us several times before and during our stay - we had to give our arrival time, which I appreciate enables a smooth check in but we then were also asked to confirm we had arrived. On our second day we were emailed to ask that when we check out we let them know, even though they state check out time is 10am AND we had already had to give our check out window of 9-10am before our stay, and then on our third/last day we were emailed again to say we hadn't replied and could we let them know when we were leaving. All of this was unnecessary as we had given our arrival and check out times, and the accommodation states a check out time, and we never met anyone as all keys were given and returned via a safe key box. It spoils the feeling of being on holiday when you are constantly asked about leaving, and made us very aware we were in someone else's apartment the whole time. The last thing was that the full cost of our stay was taken from our account at the time of booking which was unexpected.
They were very helpful in every step. We had trouble of finding the key to our apartment but just a call and things went well. So they were there to help immediately. I especially liked the ability to use Whatsapp as that is the way I usually communicate - very quick and handy. It was a fully equipped apartment - I was even able to do my laundry and dry them
Very spacious apartment with lots of room for up to four people. Two separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Nice kitchen with space and location nice and about 1,3 km. from city centre of Oxford. There is a bike rent service right next to the apartment so rent a bike here (easy process) and it take you 10 minutes to get to the city centre. Location just next to the river and wonderful nature for walks and bike rides. Oxford of course fantastic in it self. Good WIFI and TV. No air condition. Our host John was great to guide us to the apartment on arrival and handled us the key etc. and showed us what to do then checking-out. Lots of information before arrival about the practicalities regarding renting the flat.
